Tis better for wisdom than gold,
Know how knowledge to unfold;
Understanding what is right,
Capable of giving insight.

For traveling through these days,
You know to avoid evil ways;
As God's hand guides your flow,
Protecting from where you go.

But building up too much pride,
Leaves no room for God inside;
Allowing a detour from the path,
No protection from His wrath.

You are better off being poor,
Than getting rich from Satan's lure;
That allows temptation and lust,
Superceding God in your trust.

You can be rich in many things,
From everything that God brings;
Being spiritually wealthy and wise,
Rather than deceitful in the lies.
