Wedding Day

The guests, the flowers.
The rings, the flower girl.
The dress and the "I do"s.
Silent as glass, the Savior looks upon it all.

The smile is there, though not visable.
He watches the two believers
He has brought together.
They are now preparing to become one.

As unseen as His smile are the
angels in the church
but the flower girl hears them.
She listens intently to the music all around.
The Heavenly sound could only be
a celestial choir.

Sunlight shines through the window
onto the congregation.
A bright yellow glow falls on the new couple.
Filtering through the
stain glass picture of Christ,
the light is a testament of His blessing.
