Moses chose seventy men from the Hebrews,
To help him guide the children of Israel;
These would be the Sanhedrin;

Jesus chose seventy to go out, two by two;
They would go before Him,
To prepare those who would hear Him.

There were a number of similarities in the ministry of Moses and the Lord Jesus Christ. This was not a matter of mere coincidence at all. Actually, Moses was a type of Christ under the old covenant. Many things in his life and ministry were 'shadows of things to come' and real fulfilment thru Christ the Lord. Thank you for this simple but great truth. Keep writing.
