At Easter time, we think of the strife
That Jesus endured to give us life.
He suffered and died so we might live -
What an incredible gift to give!

There’s something more about this gift
That’s sure to give your heart a lift.
Since God is the Head of our Family,
That makes His Son our brother, you see!

What a relationship that can be –
Just think of the love in this family.
We have God, our Father, wise and strong
And ‘brother’ Jesus to guide us along.

Think of all that we can confide
In our big brother, who will provide
Love and caring and forgiveness, too,
All because His Word is true!

Big brothers lead, and He’ll do the same.
He will show us, first, how to honor God’s Name.
Then, He’ll explain how to live the right way
And help us connect with ‘Dad’ as we pray.

This wonderful brother will always be there
With compassion and caring, so kind and so fair.
He’ll teach what we need to know
And, through His love we will prosper and grow!
