I KNEW EVEN THEN
I was only a kid in my home village but I can still remember looking at the sky and thinking i could not have chosen a better color for the sky.pink just would not looked right and orange would not have let the sun shine through.The stars amazed me,what made him think of them-a thousand twinkling lights of gloriuos beauty.Have you watched the sunrise,breathtaking beauty,back then I never missed it,it made me smile on days I did not want to go to school.I cannot describe the evenings,back then I would sit on a rock behind my house and watch the sunset.It makes me cry that now I cannot see the works of his hands,the buildings are too high,the nights are alive with lights everywhere but I still hold those memories close to me,they are the places I escape to when I want to talk to God,when life gets tough and dark-in the beauty of the sunrise I can tell him how beautiful he is,under a blanket of stars I can stand confidently and say GLORY TO GOD!In the splendour of the sunset I can hear him say "I will never forsake you".I am forever grateful to the lord for keeping me in his truth and I will always bow down before him with a truly amazed heart because he is the best.
