Poetry
This crowd that so easily cries,
“Hosanna”.
Do they really know,
What they are saying?
Do they really want,
Their Lord to save them?
Do they really welcome the one,
Who comes in the name of the Lord.
I’m not what they expect
But they don’t know that yet.
For I must die rather than rule,
That is why I’ve come.
But what will become of this crowd?
Will they stand by me?
Or reject me?
Days from now
Will their cry still be,
Hosanna?
Or Crucify
