Hear the birds as they sing,
They seem to be chirping, “be happy, it’s spring!”
The pear trees have their blossoms, and soon
The cherry will bloom.
No longer will we sit in gloom, for the
Season of change is on its way

Spring is the season of a new start, the world seems
New, alive and happy.
No more wondering when it will come, because like
The bulbs, it has sprung from ground.

I hear you, spring, calling my name,
As the birds sing and the trees sway,
I know for a fact, my life will never be the same!


(I was inspired to write this a few moments after hearing a lovely bird's call.)
