Meadows of Heaven



In the meadows of God's Heaven she will play...
And the childhood that was once denied is hers at last today,
Underneath the spreading splendor,
She'll find love so warm and tender,
And a joy to last forever and a day....

For she's with Jesus, forever!
And she has a song to sing!
Her bright eyes opened, she'll see Him
And view an eternal Spring!

One day I'll cross the line and break these earthly ties...
I'll just fall asleep and then wake up in perfect paradise...
She'll come running up to meet me,
With perfect understanding greet me,
And then we'll know the purpose of her life....

We'll be with Jesus! Forever!
And we'll have a sight to see!
There'll be reunions with loved ones
Right down by the crystal sea!....

I just close my eyes and I can see her there...
Little golden head...her big blue eyes will never shed a tear...
There are angels all around her, and His perfect love surrounds her...
