Are you in need of inner healing? Take your hurts to the foot of the Cross, and leave them there, once and for all. After you have taken this step of faith, believe God for a life-altering transformation in your life. Expect it, because your miracle is on its way.

When you feel the Holy Spirit tugging at your heart to forgive someone, you may not feel ready, able to, or even willing to submit to His call. You may still feel extremely angry and deeply hurt over the pain this person caused you. Since you are still feeling these feelings, it may lead you to believe you are therefore not ready yet to forgive. You may find yourself ignoring that check in your Spirit, because you are convinced," its much too soon." This is where that scripture comes in handy,"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5.

You may even be led to believe that if you were to forgive this person at this point, you would be a hypocrite, because your flesh still doesnt wholeheartedly want to. For starters, Christians arent' supposedly to be led by the flesh but by the Spirit. Secondly, this type of leading that is leading you to believe that any forgiveness at this point will be hypocritical, and therefore will not count as showing mercy, because you still feel bitter feelings towards this person, isn't from God. God is not the author of confusion. God would not tell you to do something, that you were not able to do.

"Who He calls He equips." If God is calling you to forgive this person, then therefore He has already provided you with everything you need to do what He asks you to do, all you got to do is believe. When God has asked for your obedience, you are to trust He will provide you with everything you need to carry it out to completion.

When it comes to forgiving people that have deeply hurt us, people often fall into the tempation of reasoning their way out of it, because anything the Spirit is asking us to do, the flesh is naturally going to want to go in an entirely different direction. We need to not let the fit our flesh is having throw us into confusion. We also have the devil whispering into our ear, trying to confuse us, by saying,"Did God really ask you to forgive so and so today, maybe he means eventually months or years down the road."

Whenever this happens, you could always check things you believe the Holy Spirit is whispering to you against the Word of God. The Holy Spirit will always enlighten you on Scripture, but he will never ever go against the Word. In Scripture, God calls his people to forgive their brothers and sisters. How many times a day? 70x70, I believe He said. The same mercy God shown us, we are called to show one another. What type of mercy has he shown us? The unlimited, neverceasing, unconditonal type, my friends. This completely rules out anyone from being tempted to say that their situation is special and unique, and God will hold all other people to this standard but not them, because God understands their situation, and therefore, makes them exempt from this responsibility. No way.To think such a thought, would be placing ourselves in higher standing than the Lord. If the Lord who is without sin can show mercy on us, who needs so much mercy from God. then we who has been given so much mercy should never ever feel exempt from forgiving others when they wronged us.

Christ also said, "Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, you done on to me," I am not sure where in the Bible he said that, but He did tell his people that in the New Testament. WHat do you think He meant when He said that. I belive He was telling us, that when our brother hurts us deeply or we refuse to forgive our brother for hurting us, its actaully not something we do to each other, its something we do to God. SO if God gets hurt everytime we get hurt, and he shows mercy on them, we are called to do the same, and if we show unforgiveness towards the one who wronged us, and what we do to our brother we are actually doing to GOd. This also means, when we delay in forgiving our brother for whatever reason, we are holding unforgiveness actaully to our God, who been so merciful to us.

The devil will try to convince you that you need to feel more like forgiving before you do the forgiving or else it wont count, don't believe him, he is lying. He just wants to keep you in bondage. You see my friends, its when we walk in obedience to His leading and word, that the healing begins, and its after we take that step of faith and obey, God will heal the pain that still remains in our heart. The devil knows the pain won't stop until we forgive, so if he could get us to wait until the pain stops first before taking a step towards forgiveness, he can keep us in bondage.

The Lord promises,"Seek me first and I will give you the desires of your heart." When you put God's desire to have you forgive this person before your own desire to hold onto to the bitterness, you have just put the Lord first, you just died to yourself, and that honors and pleases God. Anyone can be kind to others when they are kind to them, but when we love those who behave as enemies towards us, we are doing what we are called to do as Christians. Since we placed God's desires before our own in this manner, He will bless us with the desires of our heart, and that includes setting us free of all the hurt and pain from that person who you were in bondage not wanting to forgive.
The enemy knows as long as He can keep us in the bondage of unforgiveness through deception, we will not be able to move into the the next level. The last place the enemy wants us to be is free from the shackles that bind us, because when captives are set free by the grace of God, God uses them mightily and that means us being used as a vessel to bring more souls to Jesus, which is a huge threat to Satan's plans for those souls. Which is why He works overtime to confuse the minds of Christians and keep them in the bondage of unforgiveness.

Do not let yourself be a casualty of war. Reemember,"I have given you authority to tread over serpents and scorpions."Luke 10 Serpents are lying whispers of the enemy sent to steal, kill, and destroy God's promises for us. We have power over them, through the Word of God which is our spiritual weapons in spiritual warfare. Remember to obey God in all manners, especially the manner of forgiveness. He paid a very high price for your forgiveness. Its also where your healing begins. At the foot of the Cross.

Do not attempt to obey Him on your own strength you cant, call on His strength, He who calls you to obey Him will be faithful to equip you with everything you need for the task, believe. After all is said and done, you can count on a beautiful outcome. Jesus says in his word, that those who obey Him, "even their enemies will be at peace with him" Hold Him to his word. "He who calls you is faithful" "The truth will set us free."

You will be such an effective witness as well because you truly demonstrate His unconditional love. Christ loved all people, while we were still in sin He died for us. Now that is love. He given it to us, now its our job to spread it to all people regardless of their mistakes. God will never ask you to show more mercy he shown us to others. Trust him. Like He said in the Book of Ester, "He called you for such a time as this"
