Don’t Be Surprised



Don’t be surprised - He told you

How things were going to be;

The times would grow more troublesome;

More countries disagree.




He said there would be earthquakes,

And pestilence galore;

When you see all this happening

He’s almost at the door.




He said one would be taken but

Another left behind,

He said to pray and seek His way

For there is little time.




He told us all these many things

In Matthew, Luke and John;

When I see the news tonight I

Know He is "right on"!




So keep your eyes upon the sky -

Your heart filled with His song;

The way it looks to me tonight

It can’t be very long.
