As I stand before the cross,
The cross where you where placed,
Placed to take all kind of waste
I think of sand and wilderness,
You where tempted daily yet you stood firm
Not sinking, or wavering

What you did for all mankind
You kept stead fast and firm,
Strait ahead you went
To save all mankind

What obedience to show us all
For all our sakes you took the blame
So you could take away our sin and shame

So we would never be the same
Deep in darkness and despair
But in the light
For the world to see,
So we could all be set free,
Not forgetting that, you arose on day three.
Which gives us all the victory.
