There is a place in this
world where I can go to;
to heal my aching soul;a
place of Love and Liberty that
shines in the night.
There is a Hope that I have
found that brings peace to my
soul;and at the Cross that is where
Mercy meets me.


At The Cross I lay my sins
down;all my fears fall on
hallowed ground;and at the
Cross is found God’s Love
and Mercy.
At the Cross I lay my
sins down;
there is Power in His Blood;
and at the Cross;
there is room for
everyone.(chorus)


In this redeemptive
place I have found
God’s Love reaching out
to me.He whispers my name
and removes all my doubt
and shame.
Mercy and Grace cover this
child;for every time I go
to the Cross,Love’s
redeemption is waiting
there for me.

This song is so poignantly beautiful that I could hear its lovely tune playing ever so softly in my ears. Thank you, Dee, for sharing "At The Cross" with us, a place where we can lay down all our sorrows and pains at His feet, a place where He comforts our aching hearts, and gives us His peace and joy.

Dee, in my mind I could see you and David kneeling before Christ as I read this, laying all your troubles at the feet of Jesus. I know, dear sister-in-Christ, you have had to do that often as you have battled with your health problems. Mary and I love you both, and may God richly bless you.
