I did not sprout wings today nor win a
worldly prize,
But I remembered my value in my Father's
eyes.
My life is not to be a self fullfilled
prophecy,
But to give glory to the one who gave me
sight to see
That suffering has rewards for each of us to
know,
Through the tears of desperation, our Saviour
helps us grow
Into His will and purpose; we are brought
back to our knees,
Giving humble adoration and hearts eager to
please.
I did not sprout wings today nor win a
worldly prize.
I was given grace today to see the love in
Father's eyes.
