A poor little plant grew weak in the field: standing alone in the scorching sun. Her roots were shallow and nutrients were scarce. It wouldn't be long until a wind would strike her down to the earth. Storms began to brew and hail began to fall. They were bouncing of the ground and landing elsewhere. They began striking the plant and she began to scream. She knew her end was coming, or so it seemed. Her leaves were ripped a part and she cried for mercy. She was knocked to the ground with no shelter. She was vulnerable and alone. After the storm had passed the sun began to show. Life sprang up around her. She was able to stand again. Her leaves were stronger and greener than they had ever been. She was healthier and happier with her new growth. Standing strong and no longer alone in the earth. Life flourished around her as she grew bigger. Her pain had hurt but it only made her stronger. She was able to grow as big as she needed to be-- in a field where she was planted to be seen.
