"The Winter Rose"



The Winter Rose is . . . Buried

Beneath the snow, so white

Asleep in earth, appitite sated

Preparing, beauty and delight




Slumber sweetly, beautiful Rose

Where you're safe from Ice and chill

Spring will come, anticipation grows

For your beauty and it's thrill




The Rose. . . Signifies love, so sweet

To It's fragile beauty, none compare

Awaiting winter snows, to complete

With "Buds" aroma, waifting in air




Winter, hurry. . .Pass on by

Bring your season to a close

Let your snow, no longer fly

We Await, sweet winter rose
