My glasses are out of whack

Have you ever noticed at times your life is slightly out of whack? Right now everything is slightly crooked because Chad put his elbow on my glasses and knocked them a little out a whack. They felt funny when I put them on. Being the handy man you all know he is, he decided to "fix" them. Several trips to the garage later he hands them back to me and I see that they now have progressed to looking funny and feeling a lot out of whack!

This morning I drove the girls to school with my glasses out of whack. Realizing today is a great day to head into the eye Doctor's office. Once I'm there the young man takes one look at my glasses and says, "We have one of three possibilities. One, I may can fix them. Two, they may be worse and three, they may be destroyed!" What kind of choices are those?

He returns with them and says, "It is like I feared, they're worse" So three hours later I'm sporting a pair of contact lens and have new glasses on order!

You may be thinking, what is the point here? The point is tonight when I had to take my contact lenses out and put on my glasses I realized something.

Life is going to knock me out of whack at times but I know the One who can always set things back right. It may be different than we wanted, like me with contacts, but back to seeing straight. Sometimes it may even take awhile.

Rest assured though that His three possibilities are,

One~ I can redeem anything if you let me!

Two~ Nothing is impossible for me!

Three~ I love you and we will get though this together!

Have a great night!
