The Lord gave me this simple revelation, regarding how He is our Father and we, as His children follow Him-when things are going well, we are like a little child, following her Daddy, skipping along side Him, offering Him flowers and songs, and smiles, and praise.....however, when the road seems too long, or its late, and dark, or the "weather" is bad, we get weary, and cry, and don't want to follow anymore. Like a tired, hungry child, we can no longer skip, or sing with, and to our Daddy. We need Him to carry us, and He will, indeed, when we ask, and extend our arms upward, just as a child will do. He will renew and strengthen us, and carry us through the valley, until the sun shines once again, and we are once again able to skip aside Him, offering Him flowers, and smiles and praise.....in sweet communion, and perfect trust, with our Abba, Father in Heaven.

Jamie, This is a much needed encouragement for us. I remember when I used to walk home from night service with my grandad and at the start of the journey we would sing songs together and I would hold his hand and skip along, dancing to the tune of the song. After about 10 minutes into the journey my tired little feet just couldn't keep up with grandpa (one of his steps made two or three of his)and just as you mentioned in your message thats exactly how it went. Thanks for the encouragement and hope other believers pass this way and be encouraged.
Be blessed.
Janice
