What if we couldn't see
the color of someone's skin

What if we could only see
that which lies within

What if we didn't judge
based upon a glance

What if we just decided
to give someone a chance

Regardless of their color
regardless of their creed

Regardless of their status
regardless of their need

What if someone's soul
was all that you could see

Would there be a better world
for them and you and me?

What if we chose to seek
what makes a person whole

What if we chose to look
deep into their soul

What if we weren't blinded
by things that just aren't right

What if we chose to listen
could we ever stop this fight

I have faith and I believe
deep inside I know we can

Find it in our hearts
to love our fellow man
