I step into the room full of people, unknown
Nobody I know has been shown.
I look around and feel so set appart,
I feel the leaping of my hear.

Heart pounding, eyes darting around.
Kind faces smiling, but I want to frown.
Where do I go? What will it be like?
I feel a little tyke.

A tyke who has lost her mom or dad,
A little girl feeling bad.
But someone came up to me and greeted me with your warm water.
Reminding me that I’m your daughter.

The first time jitters almost won the round
But I have found,
That the battle is the Lord’s.
With him as your Dad, he will always walk with you thorugh those doors!
