Was there a time when you thought all was lost?
When hope seemed faded and your soul paid the cost.

Did you ever just stop and listen clearly,
A voice so sweet, that whispered so dearly.

So tried by reality you forget where to find help,
Lifes' whips of cruelty have beat you down so far with every whelp.

Yet in the same second that voice you still heard,
"Your strength cometh from me, just trust in my word"

Your eyes opened wide, what help is this I seek?
A soft voice answers, "One that loves and protects the weak."

"So many times when you were in trouble or pain, And yes my promise of help and protection remained.

Your life storms were sometimes cruel, people hurt you so bad,
Your tears flowed like rain, I could feel how you were so sad.

I was always beside you, My heart gave you comfort and love,
The pureness of love and protection, that could only come from above,,,,,,,
