MY VALENTINE LOVE LETTER

Hi Love,

Love is the cheapest commodity to come by on the shelf of the mall of life; it comes in all sizes, shapes and types and from manufacturers aplenty. All of those types have a price tag on each of them. The value you and I place on each of those types, determines the price we pay willingly or unwillingly, knowingly or unknowingly, for whatever type we go for - or better still find ourselves opting to bargain for.

Yet I am pleasantly amazed friend by one of those types of love... it is so simple and unassuming yet so much highly priced; and can you believe it the price tag on that kind is labeled "FREE!!!". Yeah you saw that right, FREE!!!.

This kind of love is called AGAPE...the God-kind of love...believe me if this kind of love were the foundation or the basis of all the other types, shapes, colours and sizes of love and of manufacturers aplenty, this haven called world we live in would have been a much much better place.

Jesus the true Son of the Living God is the ONLY source of this kind.... He willingly showed us the way to display that kind of love by Himself taking mine and your place (rightful place indeed) on the wooden cross of Calvary at NO expense whatsoever to any of us but at ALL cost to Him and the Father who so loved us inspite our ugly state of sinfulness.

When all say VALENTINE I choose to in spite all the other varieties of love shown on this day to FIRST plead you and I to think of what great love One who is neither yours or mine blood brother or family relation by blood ties whatsoever; or loved one by reason of the fact that I never once met him anywhere on the highway or street corner of LIFE and said "I LOVE YOU" to Him, but He of Himself chose to love me with an uncommon love, a love so true....

Dear Friend I am short of words...just hold this thought true all through this day and make sure your neighbour next to you gets this message...I promise you IT WILL CHANGE THE WAY WE SPEND THE REST OF OUR LIVES...FOREVER!!!
