Proverbs 18:16 “A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.”

Ephesians 4:7-8
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

A gift is a talent God placed in the inside of you – skills and potentials of God in you. They represent your fortunes and give directions to your purpose.

Everyone is unique and specially gifted. Your gift represents your assignment on earth. You are therefore a man or woman on mission. Many people say they don’t know what to do because they don’t know whom they are. Your gifts, skills and talents are your advantages.

When you build your life around your talent, you cease from struggling. Mothers don’t struggle, they just play the role.

A man’s gift is supposed to make way for him. There’s something about you, that you can trade. That thing is supposed to make room for you. That thing in you enables you not to be a push over. There’s nobody that can stand against a man who has discovered whom he is.

Until you discover that gift people will always look down on you. If you don’t discover your gifts, you will always help others accomplish theirs.

The height your talents will take you, your certificates will not take you there. It doesn’t matter where you are, use your talents and others will bow for you.

Those who trade their skills, potentials, gifts and talents are continually relevant. Find out your skills and build around it no matter how long it takes.

You are the only one like you.
It’s easy to see the result and not see the process that brought the result.
Stay where God has put you and utilize your talents. Don’t look at what others are doing. Stay in your place of assignment and trade on your gifts.
There’s always a price to pay. Even salvation is not free. Jesus paid the price for it.
Judges 11:1-10

Sometimes issues in your life you may think are drawbacks are left there by God to promote you. When God is involved, ridiculous ends in miraculous!!!

Jephthah was the son of a harlot. His kinsmen threw him out but when the chips are down, they started looking for him.The sons of Ammon were bastards (Genesis 19:36-38). They invaded Gilead but God prepared Jephthah who is also a bastard to combat them. Vaccine is an extract of the disease.

Jephthah’s brothers kicked him out of his father’s inheritance but God made him use his gifts for increase. Several times, when you change your position, you change your situation.

Jephthah traded his gifts. Because of the circumstances of his birth, people rejected him but he did not reject himself. He stood up to say you can chase me out of my father’s house but you cannot take my gifts from me. They took him to a desolate place to wither and die but he refused to die because there’s something he’s got. Tell your neighbor…’there’s something you’ve got’. Friends, people have wished that you will not make it but I’m telling you that because God lives, you will make it. Shout Alleluia!

Jephthah realized he’s got something that puts him on assignment for increase and he’ll not die until he performs the assignment.

Whatsoever you are seeing in your life today, I want to tell you that everything has the ability to turn around.

There came a time when Jephthah was remembered. The elders came to him and he traded his gifts for increase. Jephthah was calling the shots! He gave his conditions and they accepted. You will be in the position to dictate when you discover your gifts. If you are the best in your camp, people will hear about you. Jephthah traded his gift and God gave him victory. People who rejected him previously, turned around and made him King.

Things to learn from the message:

Everyone that has gotten somewhere began where they were.

Stop announcing what you lack, announce what you have.
People are always ignoring what they can do and struggle with what they cannot do.
Success is doing the best you can with what you have.
Don’t start today and expect to get to the peak tomorrow. If it happens like that, tomorrow will fall back to where you started. God is a God of gradual progression.
When you leave your gift and choose to sleep, poverty will come. (Prov. 6:9-11)
