The rain is falling from the sky,
As if the clouds started to cry;
Tiny drops fall upon the earth,
Allowing plants in giving birth.

I hear the soothing gentle sound,
As it hits and flows on the ground;
Down the mountains the water goes,
And into the raging rivers as it flows.

Over the rocks and around the bends,
It is as though the journey never ends;
Through the hills through the dales,
Its journey continues and never fails.

Passing by the towns and the cities,
Being used by those communities;
While they work and as they play,
Quenching their thirst every day.

God ensures that we remain alive,
Gives what we need for to survive;
For nourishing the plants and me,
As it flows from the sky to the sea.
