Miracle Stories

Considering what we did
amazed we made it through
many things we hide
many died young quite a few.

Going to school stoned
like being in a dream
loaded all the time, even at home
listening to music, such as the band Cream.

Sure didn't help that brain cell
bouncing around in my mind
at times it was living hell
taking everthing I could buy or find.

God was ver good to me
even made it through school
though I couldn't see
acting as a fool.

Even got a goverment job
once they let long hairs in
considering my condition
still playing in my sin.

Took many years to change my life
given to God as I understand
retired from the City, kids, grandkids, new wife
one very blessed man.
