THE 23rd Psalm

Lord, you are my great shepherd
who meets all my needs.
From quiet waters I an refreshed
and from green pastures I feed.
When I am weak you give me strength
and on the right path you guide my feet.
When I go through the valleys of life
I fear no evil because you give me peace.
Knowing you are with me I’m not afraid
I am protected by your rod and staff.
You make me a guest at your banquet table
and scatter the enemies from my path.
With your oil Lord, you anoint my head
and my cup you are sure to fill.
Your goodness and mercy follows me
and in your presence I will forever live.
