Doesn’t Matter Why

Lord, of all the people
In this world from sea to sea
Many times I’ve wondered
Why did You choose me?

I am hardly worthy
To carry on Your name
The paths that I have chosen
At times filled You with shame

Somehow You looked thru the sin
And saw what I could be
You broke for me the devil’s chains
And set my spirit free

Chorus
Lord, I don’t know where we’re going
Or what may lie ahead
But I will follow blindly
With neither fear nor dread

I know You have a purpose
For me and for my life
And as long as You still love me
It doesn’t really matter why
