You look around,
In hearing a sound;
But no one there,
For you to share.

But what you hear,
Just makes you fear;
Of the unknown,
When you are alone.

Not feeling at ease,
To do as you please,
For in your view,
One is watching you.

But how can it be,
When no one you see;
Yet there is a sense,
And having no defense.

But then comes a thought,
That you better ought;
Talk to God in prayer,
To give protective care.
