A stepping stone to lift me to a higher ground;
As I kept my eyes focussed on the Faithful One,
He gave me grace, before Him favour I found.

Although I ended up in prison for a season
Yet this dream kept burning brighter within me
I knew my troubles and torment were for a reason;
From pit to prison, then president, to save many.
