I thank you Lord for that in times of sorrow
you are all that I need.
You give me strength and peace to face each day with grace
you know me in and out and delight when I seek your face.
For I am your child and you hold me
oh so near and because I know you,I have not a thing to fear.
I thank you Lord for the laughter, joy,
pain, and tears.
I thank you Lord that you gave us so many
wonderful years.
You blessed me through and through,your gentleness I feel and
I thank you Lord though sometimes I weep,
your love is very real.
I thank you Lord that you love and care for
me in a way no one else can.
You know my needs and comfort me.
I know Lord that your love for me will never
fade away,
so with sincere love and gratefulness,
I thank you today and every day.
