I was there when hungry you felt
I was there when nobody would care
In shadows of despair, the only one to share
I’m not only a drop of warmth in your eye
Though I roll out every time you cry
I was purposed by the Creator to pull you to Him
Every time you felt lonely, tired, and without any kin
I’m to remind you that even when you lock door on the world
Curl on your bed or sit stiff in the corner of your cupboard
He sees you through and feels your hurt
When you realize this He’ll help you remove the pain in your heart
