The sun rises and sets
Then it hastens to rise once again
Blowing south the turning north
The wind swirls along and returns
All the rivers flow to the sea
Yet it never fills up, they all flow again

To all creation, I see a limit
All you have made is bound with time
You are eternal, the Everlasting,
Bound by nothing, God Most High

A generation comes and goes
Yet the earth remains as you made it
The eye is not satisfied with seeing
The ear not filled with hearing
That which has been is that which will be
And what has been done will be done again
And again and again and again...

To all creation, I see a limit
All you have made is bound with time
You are eternal, the Everlasting,
Bound by nothing, God Most High

Your word is settled in heaven
Above all limits, perfection
Your faithfulness extends through all generations
