Good At Reading Highway Signs?
What About Hwy 3 + 3?

Some highway signs are clearer to read than others. Some drivers are better than other drivers at "reading" highway signs. If you saw Hwy 3 + 3, what would you think? The word "sign " or "signs" appears 119 times in the Scriptures.

Our God made sky-way signs: "And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as SIGNS to mark seasons and days and years." Gen 1:14. Most would say mankind has done quite well in reading these SIGNS.

The Lord made heart-signs through Moses: "Then the Lord said to Moses, 'Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his officials so that I may perform these miraculous SIGNS of Mine among them that you may tell your children and grandchildren how I dealt harshly with the Egyptians and how I performed my SIGNS among them, and that you may know that I am the Lord.'" Exodus 10:1. SIGNS so that the hearts of the Israelites would know the Lord.

And then God showed them Jesus-signs: "Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus was a Man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and SIGNS, which God did among you through Him, as you yourselves know. This Man was handed over to you by God's set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of the wicked men, put Him to death by nailing Him to the cross. But God raised Him from the dead, freeing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on Him." Acts 2:22-24.

The concept of " 3 + 3 " appears 3 times in the Bible. The captured Egyptian who then led David's army in pursuing the enemy raiding party. 1 Sam 30:11-20. David had 'revived' the Egyptian who had gone without any food or water for 'three days and three nights.' Left for dead, revived to help conquer. The [Hwy 3 + 3] sign...

"Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to Him, 'Teacher, we want to see a miraculous sign from you.' He answered , 'A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign! But none shall be given except the SIGN OF THE PROPHET JONAH...'

(But the Lord provided a great
fish to swallow Jonah, and
Jonah was inside the fish
three days and three nights.")
Another [Hwy 3 + 3] sign...
Jonah 1:17.

Jesus continuing:

'For as Jonah was three days and three nights [Hwy 3 + 3] in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights [Hwy 3 + 3] in the heart of the earth. The men of Ninevah will stand at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now one greater than Jonah is here.' Matt 12:38-41.

Mankind has/is/will travel many highways through life. Consider traveling on [Hwy 3 + 3]. [Hwy 3 + 3] will lead you right to the Lord Jesus Christ.
