True Wealth

In this world, we're trained to aspire,
to strive, to compete, to seize more, more, more.
Little emphasis is placed on being content
with where we are and what we have.
Little respect is given to those who accept life
and their place in it just the way it is.
The result is that we operate from lack or a negative
instead of wealth or a positive.
And yet we are very wealthy in all that we have.
The Lord said that He has come so that we would have life
and have it more abundantly.
He has kept His promise.
