Paul and Silas in the prison
waiting for the light of day,
Singing hymns and making music
knowing God would find a way,
To free them from their early prison
loose their chains and set them free,
It was on God they were believing
An angel came and set them free.

Hannah standing in the temple
Crying to the Lord with tears,
For a baby she was asking
Burdoned down by all her fears,
Still she knew that God would comfort
knew that He would find a way,
To fill her empty life with laughter
she knew God would make a way.

Abraham and his wife Sarah
God did promise them a son,
Though they hoped and dared to dream it
still they had no promised one.
But they knew that God had promised
and they knew some special day,
God would keep His heavenly promise
They knew God would make a way.

Laura and Gordon at the altar
Giving to the Lord their son,
All his life he will be asking
Mommy, Daddy, where do I come from?
They will answer, "Joshua Aaron,
you came from the Lord above,
You're the answer to our heart's prayer
for a child to hold and love,...

You're the child we'll hold and love.
