Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.

Overcoming the World
John 13:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

As I think about these verses I have decided on one thing. This New Year I am going to try even harder to tell others of Jesus and His love for all. I will let God lead me to where He needs His work done. I will let God show me the direction I am to take. He knows the path that I am to travel. I am in good hands when I leave God in charge of my travels, I will have no fear of where He leads me. God will use me in a way so that my light can shine for others, if I give Him the opportunity. So my promise to God is to be a better wittness for Him. To put God first in my life before anything else. Sometimes He gets scooted to the side so I am going to try my best to keep Him in front. I know I fail along the way, but I plan on praying and talking with my heavenly Father more everyday. Then He can show me the direction I am to take. God has been so good to me and blessed my family greatly, I just want to thank you Lord, You are awesome. Praise Your holy name. Thank you for sending your only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins. So that we could be saved and go to heaven one day.
