They are shortly on their way,
I read in my bible the other day,
Ever tongue will confess and every knee shall bow.

I began to wonder as I read,
This even includes the dead,
My heart began to tremble,
I began to feel for those that were lost,
What a way to pay the cost.

To find out in the end,
We wasted time,
We walked in this world in the blind,
People laughed as I witnessed,
They called me a prophetess and smiled,
Many times I felt I was wasting my time.

But I held out knowing what the end would be,
In search of those that would listen to me,
Many thought I was making it up,
Laughed many times and begged me to hush.

I was only being obedient to my Lord,
Even though the times would get hard.
I held on and did my job,

I seen in His word how He was humiliated,
So that you and I could see exaltation,
We are so busy in this world,
We walk in the flesh,
We stress over our finances,
We love our jobs, and material things,
All of these things we will leave behind,
At the end of time.

We don’t love the way we should,
We don’t think about others,
We look over the downcast,
We are to work in the fields,
Doing what we can, is our fathers will.

Have you witnessed today?
Have you thought about a sister or brother along the way?
Humbleness is the key,
It will be a blessing for you and me,
Time appears to be so long,
Where will you truly call home?

This world is not our place,
We are dressing up, preparing for the wedding,
Our lights are slowly going dim,
The time you waste,
You will recall,
Ever knee shall bow,
Ever tongue confess,
That Jesus is Lord of all.

Don’t take for granted your time here,
It is when you think His coming is so far,
It is really near.
