Marriage plans are in the making
some of my old treasures
being thrown out for the taking
comes as a shock
to an old guy like me
I remember that
but no longer to see.

Some of those things
I have been looking at
for most of my life
just won't go with the decor
says my to be little wife.

It can be hard to understand
for sure it's a new day
the Ladie's making a nest
best get out of her way !

The woman's touch
is what we are out to muster
I really won't be losing much
this place looks like one big cluster !

Got so excited
the day I gave her the ring
all of these old worn out material things
don't mean a thing.

Loves what's happening
and that's what I am looking for
can't wait to carry my new wife
through the front door.
