Take this broken heart
mend it and make it new
take this wounded sinner
teach them to be like You.
Never let me falter
never let me fail
confirm the truth in my heart
that in Jesus, I will prevail.
Take out all the bad, Lord
replace it with Your light
let me shine in this world
so a fire will ignite.
I shall turn my face
to the shining Son
Hele me say "Lord, have Your way"
and "thy will be done."
I long to touch the world
with the love of Christ
but I know that first
my heart needs to be right.
Please reveal the evil
that I have in my heart
Because I know
thats where purity starts.
Remind me everyday
that I am righteous in Your Name
So I will say "Yes, Lord"
This promise I will claim.
I know You love me more
than I can ever love You
help me to show thy love
in everything I do.
