Finite on one end,
eternal on the other.
Loved by a magnificent Lord,
Who chose to call him brother.

Loser given place to win,
Forgiven of all his sin.
By a God who warmed
his lonely cold heart of tin.

Now this heart, once made of ice,
wanting to show selfless sacrifice,
seeks to please his great Maker
knowing He's not some careless forsaker.

Amazed that he is loved,
this heart of simple complexities.
When he frets he's made to remember
the One who sets his heart at ease.

D'siring to fascinate his people,
to show them truest love.
Then tell them where it comes,
from his Love above.

This the grand potential,
progress of Divine work,
held by a gracious hold.
Praise Him, he's never shirked!
