WHEN FACING LIFE’S TRIALS

Cast thy burden upon the Lord and He shall substain thee Psalm 55:22a (KJV)

1. THINK IT THROUGH: Consider your options and what changes can you make. What exactly do you want to happen, what would be best for the long range? What lesson might God be trying to teach you. Examine your heart and honestly assess your walk with the Lord.

2. PRAY AND GIVE THE PROBLEM TO GOD: Ask for wisdom to know the best solution, what part can you play toward a resolution. Ask for patience and strength. Confess any sin that might be a hinderance and forgive any offense toward others.

3. LISTEN FOR GOD TO SPEAK: Seek guidance and keep your mind clear so God can speak to you. Remember God’s promise to always be with you. Ponder what God’s will might be regarding your situation

4. WORK TOWARD THE SOLUTION: As you wait for God to answer, do what you can do to meet the need or solve the problem. Speak words of faith and do not doubt. See your self on the other side of the trial with complete victory.

5. EXPRESS GRATITUDE TO GOD: Be thankful even before you get the answer. Recall how God has brought you out before and know that He is at work now. Thank God for His presence wherever you find yourself.
