WHO AM I ?

Now I stand before my accuser of a crime of which
I am guilty .Many an advocate pled my case but to no avail .
Unable to speak on my own behalf , I now am ready
for my sentence .

WHO AM I ?

It all started several weeks ago .
I was in a secluded area , alone trying to piece
my life together . In a few months I would be ready
to make a new start in the real world .
Finally a chance to make it on my own .
Things were going well or so I thought .
When suddenly I found myself on trial .
I was discovered in this secluded area ,
Who would have thought I could do any harm here
but yet I am guilty and condemned .
The sentence is death with no parole .
The charge I am guilty of is affecting a persons
life in a way that would change them forever .


I AM GUILTY - WHO AM I ?

See it really wasn’t my fault .
My accuser and accomplice , sometimes back ,
planted the idea that I could one day make a life
for myself . Now that it could be a reality my
accuser , being told of what changes they would
endure if I would get my life together ,
decided to bring charges against me .
Being guilty of said charges I stand ready for my
execution .

WHO AM I ?

Who would have thought my life ,
being conceived in the actions of two consenting
adults , would result in the death penalty ?

WHO AM I ?

If by some small chance a ray of compassion would
shine upon my accuser perhaps my life would be
spared . Perhaps they would realize my life may
be the one to make a difference in the world .

WHO AM I ?

You are fortunate that you can read this message
for you are as guilty as I am .
But you did not receive the death penalty ,
your judge gave you a chance at life and all that
it could be . But my life hangs in the balance !
