If anything I do
Brings any glory to me,
Break me and show me
You are everything good in me.

If ever I feel worthy
Of anyone's praise
Bring me down to my knees
Oh ancient of days.

If I begin to wander
From the path You've made
Let me fall face down
And turn me to walk straight.

If I begin to build a wall
I will lay crooked stones
So tear it down in my sight, Lord
And be the foundation to which I hold.

If I grow apathetic
Bound by complacency,
Burst the chains that hold me back,
Jesus set me free!

If I justify my actions
When you tell my heart they're wrong,
Let all that I hold to fail
Until this is my song:

Jesus, you are all I want.
You're all I'll ever need.
And with each day that passes by
Let my life be the song I sing.
