A subtle hint in your soul
Nothing right out blatant.
Your heart tells you yes,
Your head tells you no.

God’s still, small voice is pricking,
Man’s thrashing, loud voice lingers.
Why can’t it be simple?
Because destiny’s worth a fight.

The subtle hint is followed by another.
Slowly the plot unravels.
Coming, coming, coming.
Each time a little more apparent.

Then it spirals into place all at once,
Everything just seems to happen.
You wake up one morning and realize
Your subtle hint is now your life!
