Recess

The children happily yelled as they ran and played,
The afternoon recess was far too delayed.

The students played as their imaginations took flight,
Some students played house, the others flew kites.

There are many joys of teaching a young child.
One of them is watching them make the outside time worth while.

Children can learn the most when they play,
The togetherness unites a class everyday.

The minds of children will never cease to grow wings,
And it all is encouraged on the seats of the swings.
