Reversal of fortune is common for sick people, who recovered, only to promise much and become sick again. In John 5:14 Jesus cautions the man He healed at the pool of Bethesda. Saying, “Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, less a worse thing befall thee.” Just as the Jews seek to harm Jesus, for performing works on the Sabbath, it’s all about Character not Image.

I look to emulate the Character of Jesus Christ rather to enhance my self-image. My payer is for our world leaders to emulate the Character of Jesus Christ rather to emulate war, fear, and hate during their photo opportunities and their day-to-day lives. I want us to stop the wasteful time, the giving way to selfish indulgence of wicked men. I look to the Divine endurance of the selfless. I guess Jesus looked to the Divine power, given to him by the Father to work as he saw good.

The more I see the selfish ambition of a few the time will come, where the humble shall rule this world. Just as Jesus healed the man on the Sabbath, so we too shall be healed. Less then only at that time Jesus will not have say, “Behold, thou art made whole, sin no more.” For at that time Death will have been removed from this age and everlasting life shall be with us forever Amen.
