Author requests article critique

JUNE 27th, 1998

I was there
The magical day you arrived
Tiny angel’s eyes
Miracle boy
You looked into my very being
From the Doctor’s gentle hands
We connected
At that precise moment
You jarred me from my trance
Like cold clean air
Slicing through a steamy room
Eternal bond of father and child
My selfish wayward soul
Has never been the same
You have taught me many things
Such exhilaration
Never could I have dreamed
My beautiful son
True companion
Precious gift
Profound inspiration
Each new day
Uncharted adventure
Transcendent lesson
In unconditional love
