"Ask, and it will be given to you, seek, and you shall find, knock, and the door will be opened to you."-Matthew 7:7-8

You know the cool thing about God? The words He spoke in Matthew 7 are still true today! He will still give us what we need, He will not change. God is not a "maybe God". We do not have to beg God. We simply have to come before Him, present Him with our needs, and surrender it all to Him, and He will take care of it.
Let me ask you a question. When you go to the mechanic with car troubles, don't you trust that he or she knows what they are doing with your car? While they are fixing your car, you sit in the waiting room, drinking coffee and reading a magazine. You don't go into the shop every five minutes and ask the mechanic-"are you SURE you know what you are doing???" No, you trust him with your car!
So why would we go to God after we have told Him what is wrong and ask Him "Are you SURE you know what you're doing?" We came to Him in trust, why can't we just leave it to Him in trust. Is it because the problem seems to be getting worse? Fair enough. The Lord understands our fear. But we DID give Him our situation in FAITH that He will take care of it, and He will. He never says "maybe" He always says "Yes!" He loves us and He will take care of our problem. And the good news it is done by His grace, not based on our own personal merit! If it was, I would be worried!!
Psalm 33:18 says that "the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love." He knows those who fear Him. When we work for Him, believe in Him, and love Him, He will in turn love, work for and deliver us!!
