Mom's Homecoming in Heaven
Mom it's been two years since you went home
To see Jesus and sit around His throne

Our hearts were truly broken when we got the call
We reminded ourselves, God knows what is best for all

You were struggling to breathe, you done your best
God seen you suffering, He knew you needed rest

God needed a rose full of Grace
Then a smile came to His face

That day He picked a beautiful flower
He ended all your suffering in that hour

The holidays were hard to get through
All I could think of was missing you

Then I realized that you were with Jesus
To be sad and gloomy there was no reason

Because for you this was a great beginning
To a life with Jesus that has no ending

No more tears,suffering, or pain
You're arrival in Heaven was your gain

To sit and talk with Jesus all the day long
And hear the choir sing beautiful songs

We have the promise that we will see you again
Because of Jesus, our Savior and best friend

So until we meet again on Heaven's shores
I won't be sad for you are happy forever more
