United In LOVE

My Lord, it took You a while to reach me-

Got me by myself so You could teach me-

Took me away from the madness so I could hear-

Now that God, You have given me understanding
it's all so clear-

I was bound in darkness, You turned on the light
so I could see-

I prayed both day and night, and when it seemed
all hope was gone
You came through for me-

I had no rememberance of who I was-

Until God, You revealed, see it's all because-

I was set apart, the gift I'd been given-

Needed to be up and living-

Not drowned by selfishness and
God, I'm so sorry!!!

I realized God, You and I can have conversations-

Even in the midst of trials and tribulations-

The test was Your spirit and my flesh being at
war with each other-

Nothing changed until God, I choose You as my
soul's lover-

Understanding that until I accepted You
and put You at the
head of my life-

I needed to marry You and let my soul become
Your wife!!!


Everyday I wake and think about the goodness of God and how He's shown mercy and grace to me, it makes me so-o-o; words can't even began to answer. I could still be lost out there in the world with no understanding, no wisdom, no knowledge, no understanding of true love and today i am just reminded of how grateful I am to God for choosing me. I ain't all the way where I need to be, but I just praise and thank God for what He has done for me this far. The truth He has shown me and all His love,I can never cry enough tears to ever repay. I am so humble and so happy He saw something in me He could use. Glory to God!!! The Holy Spirit gave me this on my birthday on August 4, 2001 and today I share it with you. Maybe you will read it and understand exactly what I feel. May God bless you and maybe you know someone who needs to hear this please feel free to share it. Once again, is all because of love. Keep on going, it's about not giving up! And remember God is changing us daily, it doesn't all come over night. We spent years with the enemy and all that damage God is tearing down and rebuiding making us fit to be His bride!!!
