LOVE---SET ME FREE

This was written a couple months ago and I believe it is time to share it. All of us daily have to die to self, it never stops until He appears again. So to you, those of you who are on the battle field be encouraged and know God is for us. This is just another part of my journey, my challenges, my dying to self daily and I pray that while reading it may help someone to know Love is the key to setting us free.(Remember God is love!!!)

What's this struggle that I am in
Wanting to do right instead of sin
Why the dilemna or choice
What stops me from continuing to listen to God's voice
Father, I know I love you with all my heart
So why does this sin keep us apart
Apart of me never wants to hurt you or bring disgrace
Yet there's the other part waring in me, Father, please tell me what I should do
I can only ask You don't take Your grace and mercy before I am truelly set free
Until You truelly see nothing but Christ living in me
No longer toss to and fro, and stopping Your blessing's constant flow
God I want to be right in your eyes
Help me give my finally good-byes
To everything that's not pleasing to You
It's all I want, God you know it's true
Above all else, to completely serve You
Take this selfish self away from me
Please once and for all
Love Set Me Free

Titus 3:3-7

In the past we also were foolish. We did not obey, we were wrong, and we were slaves to many things our bodies wanted and enjoyed. We spent our lives doing evil and being jealous. People hated us, and we hated each other. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior was shown, He saved us because of His mercy. It was not because of good deeds we did to be right with Him. He saved us through the washing that made us new people through Jesus Christ our Savior. Being made right with God by His grace, we could have the hope of receiving the life that never ends.
